Here's yet another season of the fantastic Star Trek TNG for Blu-Ray
remasters, reencoded to a more suitable file size by kris33!

The first episode of this season is the same file as the last episode
of the season 3 release, so if you already have that you can just copy
it over to this folder and save around 600MiB of downloading.
					
Like with Season 3, I've reencoded the GECKOS release with x264 using
the "very slow" preset, which resulted in a 700%+ smaller 
file size (Source ≈ 2300MB, This ≈ 300MB), yet
with 85-90% of the quality still remaining. Some grain in the
source is not visible anymore, but that's about it.

Check out the Sample before you dismiss this upload blindly
due to being scared of the small file size. 

The audio has been converted from 5.1 DTS 1500 KBps to 
2.0 Dolby Pro Logic II AAC 192 KBps. The difference is
inaudible on non-surround speakers.

This isn't a criticism just a question. Is there a reason vityally all torrents don't include the extras(documenaries fatures etc) or the secondary audio tracks with the commentaries thar are included with the set

When TNG or TOS came out, Public-HD or Geckos were the encoders. They didn't include any of the extras. Kris just re-encoded already available rips, he doesn't have the original disks, if he did I'm sure he would include everything. You can find TNG S1 Extras on TPB as seperate torrent.

Incredibly stoked to finally run into seasons 2-4. I'll seed all of these 10-to-1 (at least). I just wish they were a little easier to find. They don't show up if you search "Star Trek The Next Generation" or any iteration of including "blu-ray" with those words. Still, GREAT TORRENTS! Many thanks.

All these assholes who upload torrents who have NO idea how to encode their video files who think that a bluray video has to be a minimum of 50gigs. I was worried that nobody who's smart and actually knows what people want would encode and upload TNG Bluray.

I WOULD pay them for TNG Bluray, but 140 dollars PER SEASON? What in the fuck are the THINKING? That's over a THOUSAND dollars for ONE SHOW. Who the hell is their demographic for this? Trekkie millionaires?

Well thanks for these encodes. I checked out the sample in S3 first, and it's beautiful. I can't wait to see S5 when it's out!
