Finished watching it and would recommend it. A somewhat refreshing departure from the typical late-teen film. It doesn't break any new ground, but it is actually rather insightful and well acted, particularly by the girl.

however, the subtitles are from another (chinese) movie: "Di yi ci", directed by Han Yan. The title apparently also means "The first time" and the production year is also 2012. Interesting mix-up :)
