Storyline
After losing control of his car and crashing into a local restaurant, a man loses consciousness on the street. Later, while working on a case, the police's anti-drug division captain, Zhang Lei (Honglei Sun), realizes that the man in the crash is drug lord Tian Ming (Louis Koo). In order to avoid the death penalty, Tian Ming helps the police put a stop to the entire drug trafficking circuit, but just as soon as the police are ready to make a large bust, Tian Ming makes a decision that shocks everyone involved

Mandarin or cantonese?
Boring. It's dull like a 90's era german polar.
It's a film where the main character is actually a real douche bag...
Mostly filmed in chinese stretched out to Peru outer citys - where borringness is lethal desease.
No chance at all to see the tip of a titty in this very conventionnal crime movie.
97% RT... It's mostly senseless. even the most boring-low-cost french crime movie may look descent next to that one. I guess RT's mainstream critic nefews are share holder in chinese factrories.
That movie has been elected best movie of the year at the HK awards. hahaha. tell me about elections! It's sucks big time! It's just slighly more interresting than a chinese homemade Walker Texas Ranger.
Anyway, if you are looking - just like me - for something like *infernal affair*, look for something else most def.
Also looking for a very descent adult oriented french noir-crime story, try *Olivier Asayas* in wiki, and get it from PTB (try the one with Micheal Madsen and Daria Argento where the action's in HK called *Boarding Gate* - my own best choice).

Why is it in Mandarin? As far as I'm concern, the original language is Cantonese, which it's logical being a Hong Kong movie...
Oh I see, it's a co-production between China and HK. But most of the actors are HK, right? If the source was the Chinese blu ray, we can expect all the actors to be dubbed into Mandarin. If it was the HK blu ray, we can expect no dubbed at all (Chinese actors talking in Mandarin and HK actors talking in Cantonese). Am I right? Which one is this? Thank you, the rip looks pretty good!
