Divinity: Dragon Commander is a turn-based and real time strategy role playing video game developed by Larian Studios as part of the Divinity series of fantasy role-playing games.

The game takes place in the distant past of the previous Divinity games. The player character is the bastard son of a recently-deceased emperor. While arguing over succession rights, the emperor's children make a deal with a demon which allows them to introduce new, steampunk-styled technology to the world. Maxos, a powerful wizard who featured in Divinity 2, comes to the player character as the only pure heir remaining, and asks him to enter the fight and win the war so that the demonic technology can be destroyed.

The story in the game follows this overarching plot, while from turn to turn, the player is confronted with political and personal issues from their ambassadors and generals. The ambassadors represent the non-human races, namely the Undead, the Elves, the Dwarves, the Lizardmen and the Imps. Each roughly represents a political viewpoint, and many of the political decisions are taken from modern politics. For instance, the player can decide whether or not to create a don't ask, don't tell policy in their army, and their decision will affect the relations between the player character and the various races.

Guy downloads games from a site called GOOD OLD GAMES, complains they're too old and good for him

wut
No it's not just a name...the purpose is to bring digital versions of old games...with some new ones. Ever wondered why there's THOUSANDS of "previous era" games?

But I'm sorry you hate quality games, and have a terrible computer. May I suggest playing COD on an Xbox?

Calm down, guys. GOG used to stand for "Good Old Games" back then it started. It still does somewhat, but to a far lesser degree, and is usually advertised simply as gog or gog.com

@Fadroma
>game that does not have a demo

This. Not releasing demo is a bad move
There is a disturbing ratio of Seeders to Leechers on this. :(

Torrent is quite fresh, and my upstream is limited to ~500 kbyte/s
Thanks for the torrent apach1887. Much appreciated.
***REMARK for everyone for GOG version***

GOG version of DDC will crashed unexpectedly on Single Player or Multiplayer or Training Grounds or so whatever.

eg, the Story Campaign screen with the 4 "Researched Technology" BLANK icon & the start is CRASH while LOADING.

REASON:
The DCApp.exe woudn't accept the game folder path with "." character. The default "GOG.com" program folder will FUCK the game.

SOLUTION:
Don't install the GOG version of DDC in the default folder contain "GOG.com"
That's all!
@mpegdecoder01: What? What is the solution? I didn't get it. Thanks.
Does anyone else get severe sound stuttering?

I'm trying to figure out whether it's the game, this torrent specifically, or my computer.
Hey guys, anyone experiencing where the AI commander doesn't move once you end your turn? It happens when I restart the game and load a save file. Thanks.
Guys, it crashes on the intro and if I skip the intro it crashes during the loading screen.
Anyone else has this problem or is it just me? :(
Saddens me to see ppl rip off GOG. Of all the people to scam, it doesn't seem right to do it to them. Wouldn't mind people pirating Steam, despite 75% sales but GOG go the extra mile with the no DRM policy. But whatev, I'll stop preaching.
So you go to a pirate/share site your self and then feel compelled to complain piracy?

Also, any kind of piracy/sharing will never equal direct profit. Do you really think that someone that goes to these sites will pay?
Although a lot of people will pay once they find a game/movie is good, and, or it leads to more sales when and if they want to exchange.
Always one guy who has to complain. I agree with the guy above me and ask, why are you here? Sheesh, complaining about piracy on PIRATE BAY.
I partially agree with PegEss - I don't like seeing GOG torrents since they have no DRM policy... on the other hand I enjoy seeing Ubisoft / Blizzard / even Steam torrents.

That being said - Gog just has Winter Sale and most games are like 50-80% off. This particular game is $22 - I'm here just to see how game plays, if it's good, I'll buy it like bunch of other games I've bought today on that sale.

So, if you have enough money to buy the game - buy it and support devs. If not - well... I'm thankful that today there are so many ways to spend quality time with great games and not spend money. Whatever happens - enjoy your day ;)
So I think the golden dragon skin should be in the DLC but I don't see it available in the gameplay options where it should be. Was the imperial edition supposed to be the DLC included in this release?
