Many disk images have SNs in the "get info" box. Those that don't, should have them in the * apps.

Please, how do you open those IMG files? In OSX 10.8.4 the HD-Util reports an error "wrong format", in MacOS 9 diskcopy is also not able to mount those files .. any hints please?
I couldn't cope with them too. Seems like corrupted raw floppy images (cause there's a HFS header and footer, but integrity is broken). The most i get is a disc label)) You'd better look for smth else (or wait response from the author)
Since these *.IMG files (NDIF-images) are not compressed with StuffIt (*.sit) or similar from the MacOS 9 and earlier era, the "Resource Fork" is missing and thus the files a completely useless. The "Data Fork" alone won't let you use these files. As soon as you dl this to an OSX or WIN machine, the files get irreparably damaged. If they haven't been in the first place anyway by "wrong" handling from the uploader.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you upload MacOS legacy files, compress them on an old Mac first, otherwise they are useless.
