The Injustice: Gods Among Us comic book series was announced by Ed Boon on October 5, 2012, during the EB Games Expo. The series serves as a prequel detailing the events leading up to the game. The series is written by Tom Taylor and illustrated by Jheremy Raapack. The comic was released digitally on a weekly schedule beginning on January 15, 2013. The series was later issued in regular comic book form, and eventually a collected edition. The comic series begins with the premise of Superman's actions after the Joker's murders of Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen, followed by the nuclear annihilation of Metropolis. The series follows the descent of Superman and the Justice League from the world's heroes to its oppressors with Batman leading a group of insurgents bent on resisting Superman's increasingly totalitarian acts.

I cants believe it's over! The writer says the series is picking up again in 2014 but we'll see.

there's also an injustice annual, to be released november 13th, with a new story written by tom taylor. (featuring harley quinn vs. lobo, if the cover is indication).

this run will also be collected as 2 injustice hardcovers, and later trades. the 1st is out on november 20th. f.y.i. it is a STEAL pre-ordered from amazon at USD $11.99!

it's probably also worth mentioning that taylor takes over the title earth 2 (which james robinson quit, probably because greg pak was assigned to batman/superman) with #17 out november 6th.

november is a freakin' huge month for tom taylor.

@ lukavelli, if you're reading comics on your iPad download ComicFlow from the app store. It's free and it opens any CBR or CBZ file. 99% of comics on here are one of those two. I would also get iFunBox or something like it. Its not in the app store but it's free. It lets you create folders in any app. (Natively the iPad does not do this) so you can better organize your comics on your iPad
