This is a image collection of classic and surrealist paintings. There are 100,000 high resolution images. In this archive there is no sorting. The files are all in a single folder and named to their md5 checksums to prevent duplicates. The purpose is to make this vast collection accessible to the wallpaper rotation system and screensavers included with OSX that require a single folder of images. You can be exposed to fine art passively with this archive using those features.

Oh dear - here we go again. Another crazy large upload that too will fail. Why don't you just break it up into manageable chunks of about 1 GB each ?
this looks like an amazing idea to have these as alternating monitor display... itll take a ton of time to download but hopefully i'll complete it someday. thanks!!
this torrents is a real waste of time, images are duplicated for at least 5 times with different sizes, Christianity theme paintings from the early period are the major ones and Surrealism paintings are few with low-res. such a deceiving upload
Don't waste your time, 92 images took 4 days to download, didn't even include the image in the torrent page. You suck openthom.

The upload functions. There are smaller collections all over TPB if you search. This is for people with bandwidth. If you want to download and split the archive into smaller chunks you are welcome to do so however this collection cannot be easily ordered.

There are 100,000 images. Making a generalized statement like the images are duplicated 5 times is a huge exaggeration since you obviously have not reviewed and compared all the images. How would you even find 5 images of the same painting with differing resolutions in a archive this big with no ordering ?. This is a great art collection. I think you are wrong. Its not dominated by Christian themed paintings and you can remove almost all the low resolution images by ordering the folder based on file size and deleting the 800 smallest images. If you take the time to review the collection more carefully you will see there is a great variety and relatively few low res images. The sliding panels screensaver in OSX works particularly well for evaluating the collection.

There is only one zipped file in this torrent so you either get all the images or none. Unless you downloaded part of the archive and tried to unzip it ? You need to finish your download and verify the md5sum included matches the 7z archive. There are 100,000 + files in the complete archive.

Apologies openthom, it took me 5 days to download the torrent. when I tried to unzip it it came out with about 80 pictures and winzip gave "unable to write" errors. I ran the sumcheck and it said it was fine but still would not unzip more than 50 or 60 files.
I moved the 7z file to an external drive and to another computer and I'm unzipping now and it seems to be working. Your hard work is appreciated.

Don't listen to the trolls, dude. This torrent is drop dead amazing right there next to a handful of other torrents that'll allow memory to persist if there's an energy crisis and civilization goes to shit. Absolutely awesome that it should be in the same folder and it'll take me a year to go through them on the desktop on auto-change at 1 per minute. Huge thanks to you.

Hey everyone. I just finished downloading this amazing torrent, and I will seed for as long as possible. I have one question however: is there any program I can use to categorize/catalog these images? Either way, some of these images have resolutions of 7k x 11k. Its insane. No other torrent compares. I made an account here just to say thank you.
