The ECUP suggests that, while the head that wears the crown may be heavy, it's not as heavy as the head that has encephalitis, with 'War Stories'!

The first issue of War Stories was published in 1987, in affiliation with the Central Committee for Conscientious Objectors (CCCO). The intention was to tell stories that truly portrayed the toll of war, on individuals, families, nations, etc., rather than the glorious, gung-ho indoctrination contained in recruiting brochures. Eclipse and CCCO planned on giving them away at schools to counteract US recruiting propaganda; however, the Department of Defense went to court in order to stop this distribution. While the suit ultimately failed, the lawyers did tie things up for a bit and the second (and last) issue of the series wasn't published until 1991.

A lot of talented people worked on these two issues. Among them: Bill Sienkiewicz, Mike Barr, Brian Bolland, Alan Moore, John Totleben, Steve Bissette, Steve Leialoha, Denny O'Neil and Paul Gulacy.

This torrent contains both issues. Commendations to the creative teams and the scanners! Reap it, relinquish it!

The second half of this Eclipse upload is 'Espers v1'! This five-issue series was written by James D. Hudnall with David "V for Vendetta" Lloyd penciling numbers 1-4. Said torrent was uploaded by qlrandom in March of this year and, if you eat all of your brussel sprouts - and all of mine - you can find it here:

I seem to remember someone (maybe you) ul-ing a bunch of ESPERs torrent awhile back, but one of the volumes wasn't ul-ed.

I believe the ones published by Halloween Comics were the ones not ul-ed. However, 3 issues of that run is available on the you-know-what site.

FYI.

Thanks for the ul!
Ha! I have a scan of the later Image TPB of the Halloween issues but it needs some work. Going to address that after my magnum opus is finished.
Thanks! I missed these when they came out. BTW, is the You-know-what site the same as He Who Must Not Be Named?
I hope that it has all 6 issues, as I only found # 1-3.

Magnum Opus? So you're not gonna do the DHCUP?
Pity, I was looking forward to that one! ;-)
