(Problems with magnets links are fixed by upgrading your torrent client!)
This contains MathWorks' Matlab R2013b, fully activated and for both 32-Bit and 64-Bit Windows editions! From http://www.mathworks.com/products/matlab/ MATLAB® is a high-level language and interactive environment for numerical computation, visualization, and programming. Using MATLAB, you can analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models and applications. The language, tools, and built-in math functions enable you to explore multiple approaches and reach a solution faster than with spreadsheets or traditional programming languages, such as C/C++ or Java™. You can use MATLAB for a range of applications, including signal processing and communications, image and video processing, control systems, test and measurement, computational finance, and computational biology. More than a million engineers and scientists in industry and academia use MATLAB, the language of technical computing. N.B. AV might go off but then again, if you're on torrenting sites, you should probably know better. If you don't trust the software, you're always free to run it in Sandboxie to check.

I don't know what kind of software you're trying to mount the ISO with but I can guarantee that mounting it with DAEMON Tools will not require any kind of password. EVER!
omniloads and Midou01, I appreciate your answers, but why would I lie about having or not a password?
The rar file is protected (which is nonsensical to me, why does someone share sth on thepiratebay and protect the file?)
Because I'm quite sure two different people couldn't have downloaded the same file in two different versions, and I use Daemon tools (useless if the file is not decompressed), could someone please tell me either the password (Thanks marios_geo, those ones didn't do the trick) or tell me what went wrong for I have a txt file telling me it definitely is protected and I should go to a crapware downloader site to get it?

lordi-metal, this is an iso file, not a rar file. So you've somehow downloaded the rar file, delete that and download this one instead. I believe someone posted the rar file here a few days ago so maybe you downloaded that one.
thank you orion8_2012 and omniloads.
I don't really know what happened but I somehow downloaded a .rar file with the exact same name of the iso file that happened to be protected (it was a rar file within a rar file. The first one would open a txt file telling me to go to a site to get the password and second one contained the protected iso image).
I wonder why this happened and if it might be a virus, though I've never seen a virus like that.
Anyway, I downloaded the ISO file again and it is ok. The only problem now is that I get a message when trying to open the program:
"License Manager Error 114
License checkout failed...
This release of Matlab requires a License Manager update and a new License from the License Center..."
Did anyone get this message as well? How can I turn around this issue?
Thank you all very much for your help and patience.

Anyone has news for a mac (unix) version?
hello lordi-metal you must overwite the dll file (in the folder CYGISO in the ISO ) in the following directory: C:Program FilesMATLABR2013bbinwin32 or C:Program FilesMATLABR2013bbinwin64 and it will be fine
Not fully working! Matlab Compiler (creating exe application) is not licensed. Not usable for this purpose!
hiarf thank you very much! You saved the day.
I had pasted the dll file in he wrong folder (the root folder) and therefore it didn't work right. Your useful piece of information should also be on omniloads's txt file as it would be very helpful.

virus don't download
You sure that it is not fully working? Matlab Compiler works or not ?
Yes, I am sure Matlab Compiler does not work. At least for me. Someone else should confirme this but most likely you will experince the same behavior.
I can confirm that the compiler does NOT work.
That's the only thing I've found so far though, everything else seems to be working.
50% useless to me if I can't create distributable exe files.

easy to check via:
license('inuse')
returns:
'compiler'
license('inuse')
returns:
'compiler'
Well, the thing that Matlab Compiler licence is in use is not the problem. Also other licences are in use if you use them. Try mcc command under windows cmd if you want to read more about the problem.
yeah, that was nonsense, here you go:
========================
!mcc
Error: Could not check out a Compiler license:
SIGN= keyword required but missing from the license certificate.
This is probably because the license is older than the application
You need to obtain a SIGN= version of this license from your vendor.

FLEXnet Licensing error:-114,582
For further information, refer to the FLEXnet Licensing documentation,
available at "www.flexerasoftware.com"..
so I hope somebody will do a proper job with this!

Information about the compiler. I've managed to compile c and c++ to mex files using the compiler.
I haven't tested the mcc yet.
I haven't tested the mcc yet.
can anyone confirm if the parallel computing/distributed computing server toolbox works?
come on people, we want the mac version.
Yep, I'm sorry about that, the compiler is NOT working, I hadn't thought to check that.
I'll try to find a fix and post it here if I do. Sorry for all those who actually downloaded this in hopes that the compiler would work.

That would be very very nice...
has the compiler been fixed?
here are some alternative instructions i found online. initially i had some issues with the activation, but after i followed these everything worked 100%. step number 13 was where i went wrong. i can confirm this torrent is working!
1. Mount image cyg-mathworks_matlab_r2013b
2. Forward to launching installation dialog box if it does not go to the root directory and run setup.exe
3. Select Install without using the Internet (Installing without internet)
4. Agree with the license (Preferably read it)
5. Choose "I have the File Installation Key for my license:
6. Find us desired key in the file X: CYGiSO readme, copy it and paste it in the dialog box
7. order that would see what he'll put in the Installation Type window, select Custom
8. Next, choose the installation path (it is desirable not to change)
9. Enjoying what we offer to deliver and, if necessary put a tick next to those modules that we need.
10. If there is not necessary to us module back on item number 6. If we are satisfied click next
11. If the Windows Product overwrite respond to your discretion. This window asks you to reinstall already installed modules. (It is desirable to answer Yes to all)
12. After installation you will be asked to confirm the license to choose without internet and then specify the path to X : CYGiSO license.dat
13. Go to the folder "X: CYGiSO " and copy the files are replaced with the contents of the x64 (x86) in MATLAB R2013b bin win64 (win86-folder may be different since it is not installed on win 32. Main swap file libmwservices.dll)
14. Run MATLAB R2013b and rejoice.
