OS: Windows 8 Pro 64bit

From the Disc Label, valid with the following Lenovo platforms:
T430, T430s, T530, W530, X230

May be able to load this on other platforms as well.

The 3rd ISO file is larger then a DVD5, I would need a Double Layer DVD (DVD9). Is this correct?

It would appear that you do need a dual layer DVD for the 3rd ISO. It is the OS restore disc.

I tried using IMGburn and both a truncate and overburn, and the disc is not recognized.

These were ripped from original Lenovo discs.

Does not activate on a Thinkpad T430 that originally came with Windows 7 pre-installed.
Apparently Windows 8 activation key is tied to the system BIOS. Totally different from other Windows versions.

But in my experience I much rather use Windows 7 anytime over Windows 8.

Looks like this link may help you.

You might want to install the latest BIOS as well.

Seems like it may be a problem with the default value being set to GPT instead of MBR during the installation.

I have a T430s and unfortunately I neglected to create restore media for it.
