Here's a simple test for anyone who wants to try:
play Watchmen Director's Cut, at 3:16 the moon is in the background. It should be perfectly round. Like the moon.
If you have a common release or playing a grym one at deault AR, you will have a prefect circle.
If you force the 1920x1080 grym into 2.35:1 like vonricht wants you to do, it will be an ellipse.

@sush24
If you look at the actual screensshots in those reviews you can see more at the bottom and the top.
I have this version which does show more when compared to the review screenshot of the 2.35:1 version.

Yeah, I'm done with the trollfest here. Ppl have more than enough info to make up their minds. Plus, I've got to get back to the 89' season of F1 and don't want to be distracted:)
@.Leto. You the man:)

Great torrent, thanks VR.
Just a minor observational note, in case anyone wonders --
In the extras, under "Making.the.Films.Part.4", the included piece is actually a duplicate of the first half/section of "On.Set.with.Raiders.of.the.Lost.Ark"
I'm guessing it should actually be "The Making of Crystal Skull" -- which is still included in the extras anyway, just in its own separate folder.
Anyway, not a complaint, of course -- just a heads up if anyone gets confused. Otherwise, all of the exact bonus material is there!

Pls can you include chapters in all your movie? I cannot forward any of the movies when I play it in my blu ray player through HDD. Even the subtitles do not work. @vonRicht
The only not cropped version out there, the only worth downloading when you seek quality over size.
Thanks !
Thanks !
Perhaps this is just me but Making the Films Part 4 is merely a copy of Making the Films Part 1.
Shoot! Sorry...my bad.
Making the Films Part 4 is a clipped version of On Set with Raiders of the Lost Ark.
The file size for Part 4 is: 786mb
The file size for On Set is: 1.6gb
Unfortunately, they are the same thing except Part 4 is truncated.

To any person looking at the fact that there are 59 comments or maybe more when you read, you can skip reading as it's all stupid stuff. Here is the deal:
grym rips leave the video stream the same size as is on the disk, which means regardless of the aspect ratio, the rip is 1920x1080, so if the aspect ratio is greater than 1.67 (16:9) meaning it's a wider aspect, you end up with black bars on the top and the bottom of the image. This is normal. Now, my understanding is that when you try to play videos from a file on a device other than a PC it's important that it's 16:9, so a grym rip plays correctly. If you are playing on a PC it doesn't make any difference.
Other rippers will crop out the blackness from the video stream, so in the case of these movies for instance, where the aspect ratio is 2.35:1, then removing the blackness from the top and bottom gives you a video size of 1920x816. If you play the video on a PC, no big deal. The video software is smart enough to make the video fit on the screen, so if you have an HD monitor hooked to your PC and you have the screen size set at 1920x1080 (1080p), the video ends up filling the length of the monitor without any stretching or compressing the width. In other words, a PC will display it correctly with the correct player, and VLC does this just fine.
So, grym, highcode, amiable and a few other rippers that provide enough bandwidth (file size) so that you get very little distortion, the video looks great going from a PC to an HDTV or HD monitor.
I have no recommendation. Sometimes I like one person's rip and sometimes I like another person's. I can't give you a reason why that happens. For any 1080p rip to look good though, you can expect at least 4gigs for each hour, and a little more if the sound is DTS, and more still if there are multiple audio streams.
