Robert "Bobby" Trench (Denzel Washington) e Michael "Stig" Stigman (Mark Wahlberg) trabalham juntos há dez meses e tentam fazer negócios com Papi Greco (Edward James Olmos), um poderoso traficante mexicano que atua nos Estados Unidos.
