The first thing this does after installing is open your browser and connect you to a website hosted by the person who made the crack. It thanks you, tells you updates could be applied in the future, and asks you to donate via paypal.

VirusTotal.com says TrendMicro Housecall detects Makahost.dll as TROJ_GEN.F47V0726. This file doesn't exist in the program itself, but is included with the crack. It's perhaps a false positive, but clearly this is a security risk already if it has the ability to drop new software on your system in the future or even open a page in your browser without asking.

When Xsplit starts up, it asks you to log in or create an account. You need to make an account to use the software. I'm not sure how well that works being cracked and all..but at this point I just decided to uninstall this.

Feel free to try it yourself but this one creeps me out, I wish I hadn't.

i dont have a readme in my download and trying the same steps from a previous version results in an xsplit has stopped working error on attempting to start the program.

as far as i understand you replace the xsplit.core in the install folder with the one in the download.

i didnt get that website popup though

Its a false positive, this line of cracks have all had makahost, and it actually does take you to a download page when a new version comes out.

It's worked, in login to avoid download update you need disable modem or pull Ethernet cable then make login in offline mode and it will skip download update newer and done it put ethernet cable back online done you can make live :)

Seems shady but whatever...

Anyway, so it didn't work for me at first. XCore and the dll both go in the install directory, and there's no readme. Also I blocked XCore and the updater exes in the firewall just in case before running. Login works just fine, it's just offline because I block it.

the torrent worked but sadly Xsplit did a Forced Patched after installing it making it a trial yet again. Please if anyone knows of where to get the updated crack or another crack of Xsplit that wont forcibly update than Great. So Far this same torrent has been passed around from here and Kickass torrents - Their both the same and they both work but sadly because of the forced update Xsplit did it's no good.

If someone knows a way around the forced update than please tell me ? ; 0;

Use Firewall App Blocker (Fab) to block Xsplit (XSplit.Core.exe) until it start – than unblock it and everything will be ok – When you click to start to broadcast Xsplit will communicate with server and get your streaming data and all will work good – You don’t need to update Xsplit and everything work like a charm

Just commenting to confirm that tata.ratatatarata's fix / suggestion does indeed work. Can't thank you enough, been searching the web for a solution in all the wrong places.

I got everything to work but now my problem is that Local Recording option is not available. Any suggestions?

@tata.ratatatarata You can use Windows Firewall to block it aswell, just make a rule under "Outbound rules" to block xsplit.core.exe

Using blocking like you described will possibly work, but with to much clicks :) - Another one problem is that if you block permanently xsplit.core.exe you will possibly not have chance to get data from streaming server which will not allow you to stream – When Xsplit loads, i unblock it and when i want to start broadcasting Xsplit connects to server get settings for a channels and start broadcasting in 2-3 seconds – little more longer than ordinary start!
If you must block Xsplit until it loads and than unblock it if you want to stream my way is much easier to do – But that depends from people
