VLC 2.1.2 is the only program that seems to be able to play x265 inside a MP4.  Also seek times with x265 can be rather long in VLC.  This is to be expected with a next gen video standard that is poorly supported, obviously your devices will not support this video.  I just made this rip as a test of the new x265 codec. This video is NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART.

Great stuff - thanks.

Hopefully they'll speed up x265 encoder soon and speed up the h265 decoder.

This file was encoded at CRF 23 so when they bring out the Hi10p or Hi444p version of x265 the filesize should shrink even further.
