Nidhogg is the epic award-winning fencing tug-of-war, full of
graceful acrobatics and clumsy stabs. IRL yelling and excitement
may occur, in this ultimate two-player showdown of fast-paced
fencing and melee attacks.
Beware, advantages in Nidhogg are often fleeting, as new opponents
continually spawn in your way. Use a variety of fencing maneuvers
while armed -- lunges, parries, and even dirty tricks like throwing
your sword. If swordless, press forward with punches, sweep kicks,
dive kicks, rolls, and wall jumps.
The combat arena stretches in both directions, although besting an
opponent only gains you ground. Matches arent won or lost with a
single kill, but with a series of kills granting you right-of-way
to run/fight/flee to your own goal-zone.
Each arena holds different strategic formations and chokepoints to
use to your advantage. Until you reach your goal-zone, anything is
possible. Only one thing is certain in Nidhogg
the only way to win
is to outwit your opponent. En Garde!

someone is saying the other submission has a trojan, can someone scan this one?
@panacotta: Avast says it's clean, and both Avast and Microsoft Security Essentials say the installer's clean, but MSE doesn't like steam_api.dll once it's installed. Make of this what you will. A workaround if you still want to run it is to disable MSE's real-time protection and run it.
The concept is cool but the game just- fails to be something that can be truly enjoyed. Me and the AI just go back and forth stabbing each other trying to progress to the next area using the only key to fight. It's all just repetition.
The last copy of this I got (apparently the last one was deleted, it had messed-up ASCII) didn't have any trojan detected by ESET. I wonder what makes this one different?
Regardless, the game is awesome, and I complete it in a half-hour each single-player run. Once you get into the extra features of your character, playing it is a breeze.

Honestly when i heard the music upon opening the installer (for dumb people its the setup.exe program) I just stopped installing and listened it.
it says that steam_api.dll is missing and crashes the game but when i put in the file it thinks its a real game so i cant play it plz help!
Comodo antivirus says it detected malware while while i installed this, so you might wanna scan this yourself to make sure your computer doesn't get infected.

Yeah it's false positive. The game is pirated A.K.A
cracked so it can detect malware and stuff like that

I enjoyed it. I beat I under a half hour but it was very fun. I recommend it. [SPOILER ALERT] The ending is more boring than those misspelled NES games that said congraturation.
