This little gem is one of the best Batman miniseries, originally presented in 1988 and now available in shiny new digital copies courtesy of Empire. Written by the amazing Jim Starlin, the story focuses on the psychological manipulation of Batman as he is force to undergo brainwashing at the hands of the titular cult, and how they come to gain power as they rise from the underground. Brutal and effective, it is one of the earliest of examples of the mental breakdown of Bruce Wayne which has become a common them in the decades since (most notably in Grant Morrison's run, among others). Also, parts of this story can clearly be seen as an influence on The Dark Knight Rises. Thanks again to Empire for the rips, please seed and enjoy! :-)

So, yeah, LGC does appear to be all the way offline for the (hopefully short) time being.
Lord I know it, so effing annoying. I had the proverbial BIG PLANS and now...eh, at least I can use it as a tracking database to find date and timestamps. Huzzah!
(that was a sarcastic huzzah...)

I forgot to mention (or add the numbering) - this not the TPB, but all four original issues re-done in digital. To make it more confusing I even used the trade cover art, lol. Sorry about that, please continue to enjoy though...
