This game is really awesome. To play offline, just start as if you were playing online. Then start the match, and bots will automatically fill all of the other player slots. Have fun!

i cant seem to start a game normally,
it waits to connect to some service or what not, and eventually i get a "requested host timed out" and i have to exit to main menu.

i tried allowing/disallowing the app on the firewall.
thought maybe i should install on the default install dir.
but none seemed to work.

any ideas ?
