Thanks 7, works well apart from 360 controller config; the left analog stick acts as the right one, but working on a fix now.
If you're having issues, install the game, then extract the update and copy the contents over to the game dir and overwrite everything (Don't bother with the CRACK folder), then use the :
INSURGENCY LOADER.exe to launch the game, not the shortcut, cheers.

Does it have LAN aka the possibility to work over Tunngle/Hamachi and the like?

What I did was:
1) Install
2) Update
3) Used crack (And it didn't work)
So I re-applied the update over the crack and used the INSURGENCY LOADER.exe.
I just assumed the crack was a pre-update crack so wasn't needed, but if you do it that way, you should be right to go.

BTW if you're running windows 8 and it crashes every five minutes or so, run it in compatibility mode- Windows 7. if it's crashing for you on windows 7, try compatibility mode- Windows Vista or XP. I didn't try on 7, but it might help. This does fix it on windows 8 though.

2. In the console, type: map
to load a map
3. In the console, type: ins_bot_quota #
Where # is the number of bots you want on each team (ex. if you type 8, there will be 7 on your team + you.

Where # should be a number which I am not sure how it scales.
The bots are decent, but the main thing is you can get the general feel of the game if you are unsure if you want to buy it. I for one, once I tried it out a bit decided not to get the game because it feels meh to me. It's rather sad we don't get demos anymore because people just end up spending money on games they end up hating. This just saved me 15E.

I keep getting something like: "steam_dll is not found. Try reinstalling the application." Is there a fix to this? I have tried reinstalling and it didn't work

Insurgency - Update 6 (by REVOLT) now includes a cracked server browser! It runs through steam, so no crack needed, and it includes the ability to host your own cracked server.
