Couldn't find this anywhere online anymore, so I've ripped the Blu Ray of FLCL, plus the bonus content from disc 2 (Sorry, but there was no info on what some of the content was, and no subs on the source material I had to work with, so some is named in an, shall we say, unconventional manner). I'm no pro release group or anything, but I think this looks excellent, with no visible differences from the bluray source, but quite a bit less than the 60GB on the discs. Keep this seeding, because it's getting hard to find this series anywhere, and this is the only torrent at 1080p. Oh, and this is also done all kinds of High Profile h264, so no idea if this will play back on your PS3, xbox, phone, or whatever. Works on a computer, use VLC, but seems to work on everything I've tried. Also, if anyone has, or would be interested in creating, forced subtitles (i.e., just the untranslated signs and on-screen text), would be eternally grateful, I don't have time. SEED!!! So, I figured out how to rip the PGS subtitles in the container to SRT, which means I can use a simple text editor to par it down to just forced subs (translations of on-screen foreign language text). Once done, I'm going to post both the SRTs and new MKV files with the forced subs. That way, everyone who downloaded these can just get a few KB of srt files, and all new downloads will be pristine MKV files with the forced subs already included. Will update when this is done, probably not soon.

Thanks for this, best quality version I've been able to find around. I was just wondering if you have an eta on when the subs will be done? I haven't been able to find the commentary with subs anywhere.
So Mr. sharpie99 is clearly doing his logic homework in the comments. The crazy thing is they read like something that would be said in the show and the second argument totally serves are a review for this anime. I must say my hat is off to him.
That said, there is no file too large that I wouldn't download for the highest quality Fl Cl and this certainly gets as close to what I was looking for as I can get for free. 9/10 Wish it had the on screen translations for the Japanese text that appears here in there like the DVD.
