Sunshine Daydream (August 27, 1972, Old Renaissance Faire Grounds, Veneta, OR) Thanks to the original up-loader whoever you are. This was the full Blu-ray rip. The only thing I did to it was rearrange the audio tracks so Dolby True HD was the default track; and muxed it into a .mkv container. Extras have not been added. My first up, hope you like it.

Oh, wow. Thanks!
Saw this at the theater and it was a fantastic film; had the VHS for years and years. This is one of the Dead's all-time best shows.
Having serious playback issues, I've tried VLC, M player and Quicktime. Thanks for the thought but something's wrong.
@ LonePigsy
When was the last time you updated your codecs on VLC? I'm not sure what issue you may be having with the file. I've played it without issue on VLC, Windows Media player classic, and a Western Digital Media player.
In order for you to have played it on Quicktime you either converted the file, or have added 3rd party codecs to QT. Either way one of those scenarios could have boogered the file.
An awful lot of people have downloaded this, and so far you are the only one that has had a problem. People are notorious bitchers, so if others had issues I'm sure I'd know by now.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing you; but I suspect it's something on your end VS the file. Either way, sorry it didn't work out for you.

Plays just fine. Gotta make sure you have a good codec pack, such as k-lite or CCCP codec pack (google either of them.) Also use either VLC or MPC Classic as your player... avoid WMP and Quicktime as they blow hard.
Thanks again... only thing that could have made this better is if someone had digitally edited OUT the weird tripping naked guy with the long blonde hair shaking his pecker behind the stage high up on a totem pole. I don't need to see dirty naked hippie DUDES while I'm eyeballin Jerry's amazing fingerwork on the stratocaster.
Naked Hippie Chicks: Perfectly Fine

LMAO, sometimes you just have to take the bad with the good.
I mostly decided to upload this for a few reasons. First and most obvious, I'm a Grateful Dead Fan.
Secondly, it seemed to be nowhere, I was surprised when I did find it in an untouched format. (Thanks again to whomever originally upped this)
Last but not least, I grew up just a few short miles away from where this show took place; so it has a bit of hometown nostalgia for me. I remember as a kid whenever the Dead would come through town people would get all in a tizzy about "what all the dirty hippies" were going to do to the town. Which at that time the town didn't even have a single stop light.... to my knowledge it now has one. Lol.
