For anyone WHO MAY HAVE issues with installation, extraction, wrong file extensions, passwords etc for this or any of my other installer torrents. Go to:

Start-Computer-Documents-Organize-Folder and search options-View

Then from the scroll menu that appears, un-tick the option of "Hide extensions for known file types". Click on "Apply" and then click on "OK" (Screen shot below):

Once you've done that. Return to your downloaded installer torrent of mine and change the file extension to .exe

Then right click on it and select "Run as administrator". 

NONE of my torrents are, or ever have been passworded or have any other type of security, re-directs etc on them.

MOUSE over icons on the installer for INFO on their functions.

The license worked fine the first time I used it, but now when I open Live, it says that I have to authorize the software online. I did not update the software, so I'm not sure why the authorization stopped working. Please help.

The Ableton Live 9 Packs (28.8GB) are available for download on rutracker.
You'll need to register to download the torrent. If your not a native Russian speaker use CHROME or Google Translate to navigate the site and register to download.

Same as others who've made the same mistake. You haven't ran as administrator from the start.

so i have it up and running, got the packs from the russian site you suggested (thanks for that btw).

my problem now is i need max for live for some of those sound packs. Do you know where I could get Max for live 6?

Get a clean Max For Live download direct from Abletons site.
If your stuck with a 30 day trial after installing it try running the Authorization contained in the installer from this torrent again post install.

Alright I found the problem. You have to block the program from the internet and turn off auto update from the preference menu. It automatically updates to 9.1.2 and removes the crack the second time you open Ableton.

Nelly mah dude. So all was well in ableton live 9, and suddenly, when i try to start Live 9 i get...

"A serious program error has occurred.
Live will shut down after this message box is closed.

Please restart live and follow the instructions in the 'Report a Crach' lesson that will appear in Live's Help View."

Everything was running perfect up until this point :( I've tried to re-install (as Admin obviously) and i still get the same message over and over. Please help, I love this program.

I had the same error as rashamatt but installing the Microsoft file (repairing) didn't work. I'm on a fairly clean Windows install and it was wanting to restart for a bunch of Windows updates. Turns out I just needed to reboot and then it went fine.

This is kind of PC tech 101 to turn the power on and off, but just wanted to note it for anyone who gets stuck. Thanks for the up Nelly.

MAX seems to work :-)

However, opening any Jitter objects results in the message "Jitter is in demo mode".

I re-ran the crack+patch from the Live installer after installing Max (Max618_x86_140806.zip from Ableton).

Any hints on getting Jitter working?

I've blocked ableton in windows firewall, I've turned off auto-updates in ableton's preferences, I've reinstalled the program twice now, I ran the installer as an administrator every time, and still the program is not registered when it's opened a second time. what gives?
