Neville Shute's mammoth Australian epic set in WWII, on many continents. Very romantic and justly famous. I am surprised no-one has posted it yet. Ripped from tape - the quality is surprisingly good for an old tape.

Wow, great response! I used SUPER to reduce file size from 3 gigs to 1, I didn't want to waste people's bandwidth on a tape rip.
The tape has some flutter the first five minutes, after that it's plain sailing.

No offence, but the plain sailing is somewhat a little wonky, advisable only for the truly desperate.
Thought it was good movie, as for 1GB, what do you expect for a VHS rip. Thanks tzuhalem.
