(Problems with magnets links are fixed by upgrading your torrent client!)
For those that have had problems installing the great alldata 10.53 torrent that is on piratebay. I have made it portable like the older versions. I have made and tested this on windows 7 and tested on windows 8. Just download and run the exe. As far as the data files, the 93 dvd's search for alldata 10.53 for the domestic and import files. My torrent is just the Alldat itself. Thanks and thanks to elisamuel40 for uploading this dataset...

Since establishing the "device" within Alldata for each unpacked DVD ISO is time consuming, I wished to automate this process for portability use on other computers after doing it once on a reference machine. Your program creates a directory structure...[C:UsersHarryAppDataRoamingThinstallAlldata%drive_C%ALLDATAW]
with Ace.INI in it. I would like to create a batch file (bat/cmd) to copy and replace this file to the target machine from the external drive. All you would have to do is ensure that the external drive on the target machine has the same drive letter assigned.
The problem is that the directory %drive_C% is treated as a variable in the script and therefore can't follow the path :-( I have tried using ' " symbols to cause the interpreter to see the directory reference as text as within Unix with no luck. I have a friend (computer noob) who wishes to send this to family in Mexico who are also noob's, so it is imperative that I automate it into it's simplest form for them. (I don't speak Spanish :-)
Thanks for the effort...Great Program!!!

I just noticed this system does not put in backslashes () or spaces
thanks, but the easiest way is to do the setup, set your "device" directories. then search the folder for the "ace.ini"
Keep that file, when you put this on other computers just copy that ace.ini file into the proper directory on the new system. wala! done!, now this is if you have the same drive letter, if not, then (say your next computer has drive "D" that you ran it from, then open ace.ini with notepad, you will see the "device" drive letter for all the ISO files, just change that drive letter to the new drive letter. Simple as that and takes about 1 minute. I do this for a lot of shops, makes installing much faster without setting all the devices up over and over.
example from the ace.ini file for devices....
"[DeviceWindow]
Device_0=u:alldataDM01Q313,1
Device_1=u:alldataDM02Q313,1
Device_2=u:alldataDM03Q313,1
Device_3=u:alldataDM04Q313,1
Device_4=u:alldataDM05Q313,1"
As u can see the drive letter is "U"
So say you setup on another computer and it is drive letter "T" then change the U to T and all done! BTW, I use Notepad+ because of the search and replace so I can change the drive letters in about 1 second. :)

Be sure to add these lines to your "hosts" file so alldata cant get out :)

The problem is my friend will send this to Mexico and the end user will be computer(s) literate. The other problem is AllData.exe (portable) does not exit gracefully, it leaves file handles open. I use "subst" in the batch file to assign the proper drive letter which corresponds to ace.ini file with device mappings copied to the hard drive. Once you have opened AllData it locks onto the external drive data/device folders so if you unplug the external drive even after AllData has been closed the system orphans the drive letter making it not available for use again until next restart. I am going to experiment with this a little more...
(batch/cmd must be run from Ext. drive)
subst #:
[ace.ini]
[DeviceWindow]
Device_0=#:AlldatadataDM1Q313,0
Device_1=#:AlldatadataDM2Q313,0
Device_2=#:AlldatadataDM3Q313,0
Device_3=#:AlldatadataDM4Q313,0
I don't know why your list shows ",1" at the end instead of ",0".
The other problem with folder naming was solved by adding an extra "%" as an escape character. One of my reference machines did have an error (syntax incorrect) when running the batch file. Re installing the OS (8.1 Pro) solved the problem, I think it was because the previous user name had a space in it. (Harry L) It would have been easier and standard policy to not name folders with special characters included, especially at the ends and no white spaces. I am not a programmer (Special breed :-) so I don't know the specific reason for the folder naming. I started with Dos 6.0 command line interface and still should be considered a kiddiescripter. Of course you could spend your life trying to learn and remember everything. Have you ever seen the Unix (sh) and Linux (bash) documentation?

I also have noticed that the hosts file requires a DNS namespace "www.mysite.com" for the host rather than an IP address. I was able to resolve all but one of them "169.198.203.194" but was able to ping it with success. Is it that windows will accept either a namespace or an IP as valid?
yeah it will accept numeric or string...
t2BeDLaM i need some explication on how to establish the dvd iso within all data, can u please explain this?
