Doesn't work - after starting a new game, a rotating logo appears for a few seconds. After it disappears, there in nothing - only music is playing in the background

Works fine here, but it does say "Review Build" before the main menu. Strange because it is released on Steam so why is that a special build?

First I want to thank you Mr. Stifmeister for all your wonderful contributions. Having said that, I'm having the same problem as apach1887 and yes, monsefaqw, I'm running as administrator.

I'm not a noob but perhaps I'm overlooking something? Any help would be appreciated.

Just to recap, I'm able to select options, start new game but then after the windmill icon the screen is just black with some background music. I have to restart my computer in order to exit the game. Thanks.

I'm having the same issue as apach1887, but I'm running the game as an administrator and it's still not working. Any advice?

Game runs fine. However, there are bugs that can prevent you from completing part of the game. The GOG deluxe version also has these bugs but the most recent purchasable version does not.

Two that I know are in Mill Management in the Industrial District. You can lock yourself out of the upstairs if you raise the elevator and fast travel out. Also, the last 2 digits of the 4 digit safe do not work.

The GOG deluxe version seems to have more ambient sound effects such as people talking inside buildings.

I discovered another bug. Taking the fuse out of the Harbour blacksmith's fuse boxes will prevent you from solving the projector since you can't put them back.

How in the hell do I start the game? All I see is a bunch of folders seemingly having to do with the UDK engine, but no game executable anywhere??
