What's the difference between WEB-DL and BluRay?

I believe the WEB-DL comes from iTunes. And of course a Bluray came from an actual Blu-ray disc/rip.

It seems recently iTunes rips come out a few days before the Blu-ray does. So if you want better quality, just wait a day or two.

@BreezeTDK yes there is a difference in quality, the retail bray rips have a higher bitrate which leads to a more detailed picture and the audio track is usually dts, which is better than standard DD5.1. But the web/itune rips are still very good quality (second only to retail rips imo) so if your fine with it then go ahead and download, but if you want a slightly better HD quality then wait for the retail.

We're talking about a buddy cop movie here, not Life of Pi. The difference in quality between BR and Web DL is so minimal that it's not worth the wait for this kind of movie.
