I was really confused about Judge Judy until someone explained to me that the SHOW pays for the the judged amount.
Now it makes sense. And man that redhead girl was a disgusting person... even Judy started to feel for her 'sob' story. Now I understand why she was 'happy' about 'paying' $2500 to the 'plaintiff' (not sure why I put that last one in quotes. heh.)
