I am having the same problem as Luke5050 :/
Luke5050 , Braydz36 I was having the same problem. But I figured it out. You are running I am guessing x64 not x86 you need to also install the x64. After install go to your common file and than into your vcredist file install x64 and x86 for some reason there is some files the game needs out of both of them to work. Good luck. GAme is hard. I wish we could save our profile.
Fantasykid what do you mean? Do you mean I need to reinstall to another directory? Or find a different version of the game? I am having the same problem as Luke5050 with the same error message.

Could you elaborate on what we need to do to fix this?
I ´ve the same problem Alcorr247, do u fix this???????
OK install game just like he says to do. once it is installed you need to go to the install folder and open up file vcredist it is located in the new install folder of the game.It will have two types of files a x64 file and an x86 file you need to install both. I hope that helps. for some reason your computer needs the x64 and x86 reg file installed.
Thanks a lot moeburn1 for your synopsis
So I am having the same problem as (razgriz13) when I start up my wargame it sends me to the Steam login page how do I stop this? And if it has to do with the firewall explain the steps? :)
Downloaded, installed.. works good.

The actual game is sort of "meh" and it's incredibly difficult too. Even on easy difficulty the game is still hard. It's a hard game in a few different ways. 1) There are alot of things that are not explained to you by the game. So for the first few hours of playing, its a learn by failing and losing. 2) The matches are hard to win. I've tried more than a few times to achieve a victory and although I have had some success... I've also completely got my ass whooped over and over again too.

I give this game a 7/10.
If you're unable to save, just Run as Admin, it worked for me, also updating the vcredist libraries never hurt.
is it working???????
When I play skirmish, the match doesnt want to start when you click Start Battle...

It just hangs? Please help!

Also the units once placed on the battlefield when you start can't be moved anymore?
@TruWing, yeah, this game goes from being extremely difficult to newcomers, to extremely easy once you get the hang of it. I used to only be able to play against 'easy' AI, now I can only play against 'very hard'.

But this is the absolute worst game to start with in the series, as there are no tutorials, it assumes you have played the last two. The first game, European Escalation, really introduces you to ground units properly. The second one, Airland Battle, has some tutorial levels, but I never really played them.
Is there any way to save decks that you've built? Every time the game restarts it wipes all of the profile information (yet campaign save are not effected and remain fine) so any time I want to do a skirmish I have to rebuild my decks. Am I the only one experiencing this issue or is there a work-around that I'm not aware of? Appreciate any help on this, thanks.
good work codex team!
can you guys guide me that how to make a bootable disk image of this game?
be specific people! I've never seen such vague instructions in my life! How do you do this?
This will not launch and I've done everything the directions say.
